YOUR TASKS:

  • Must ensure all tooling is inspected for proper manufacturing to blueprint specifications and MAPAL standards
  • Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Tool measurement and testing according to the blueprints and appropriate measurement tools such as Studer, etc.
  • Produce product in accordance with job router, print and capacity in the most efficient manner. Program, set-up and operate CNC OD machine to conform to CNC product specifications
  • Implement and inspect equipment maintenance according to maintenance schedule
  • Ensure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and clean to Mapal standards
  • Exceed and exhibit all Mapal Inc. behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standards
  • Ensure written flow charts, work instructions and/or standards for each position responsibility is consistent and accurate. Update, refine and adjust as needed or required
  • Actively participates in all cross-functional team projects and assignments as directed by Plant Manager
  • Tasks as assigned to qualification standard

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Health, hygiene, and safety oriented
  • Detail oriented and skilled in understanding process workflow
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
  • 0-3 years education, experience, OJT program or equivalent, working with CNC OD machines
  • Demonstrated experience with metal cutting principles
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints
  • Positive, ‘Can do’ attitude and approach
