YOUR TASKS:
- Project management: Prepare and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines. Actively manage projects, updating the management team on progress, and perform risk management to mitigate potential issues. Maintain clear communication with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
- Sales Growth Development: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive growth within the assigned region, achieving or exceeding annual budget targets
- Customer Engagement and Application Development: Partner with customers to identify and generate new applications for the MAPAL product line, presenting and demonstrating value-added solutions to meet their specific needs
- Technical Support Coordination: Work closely with MAPAL support teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the key liaison between the customer, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure prompt resolution of delivery, performance, and design-related queries, fostering confidence for future sales
- Training and Instruction: Provide instruction and training to customers on the utilization and application of MAPAL tooling to ensure optimal performance
- Tooling Issue Resolution: Address tooling issues on the customer’s shop floor, report findings, and recommend changes as needed to improve outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction
YOUR PROFILE:
- Education and Experience: Equivalent education or training to a 2-4 year degree in a technical discipline, including military or development/pipeline programs. 5-7 years of experience in cutting tooling is preferred
- Work Ethic and Decision-Making: Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to make independent decisions confidently
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present, persuade, and sell value. Consultative, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented approach
- Creative Problem Solving: Able to think creatively and develop ‘outside-the-box’ solutions for client needs and challenges
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to meet with customers and stakeholders in designated sales regions
- Business Acuity: Business-minded, with a strong ability to plan and develop strategies while adapting quickly to change in dynamic environments
- Customer Focus and Teamwork: Customer-centric, with proven ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and maintain strong client relationships
- Project Management and Training: Demonstrated experience in project management, product presentations, and delivering training to both employees and customers. Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and industry developments
