Machining live – MAPAL at the INTEC in Leipzig

When the Leipzig Trade Fair opens its doors for INTEC from 7 to 10 March 2023, MAPAL will be in Hall 3 at Stand B22/C21. On 100 square metres MAPAL will not only be showing tools and solutions for different industries and materials, but will also be presenting machining live to visitors. "In cooperation with Grob, we will be showing some of our tools live on a G150," says Frank Stäbler, Sales Director DACH-HU. Among other things, tools from the field of aluminium machining and the MAPAL UNIQ chucks will be on display on the machine.

The rest of the MAPAL exhibition area is reserved for the focus topics of e-mobility, fluid technology and die and mould making as well as titanium machining. 
 

E-Mobility: Solutions for different machining stages

"For demanding components that will be produced in high volumes in the future, we have defined the solution levels Basic, Performance and Expert," explains Stäbler. This classification describes the different approaches depending on requirements, number of pieces and investment. The Performance Line is geared towards series production and focuses on machining with special tools. It is primarily used when new components are to be produced efficiently and economically on existing systems.

As a technology partner, MAPAL offers tool and mould makers not only a high level of process know-how but also technologically leading tools and services. "We are showing our portfolio at the trade fair and underlining how we ensure the highest precision, long tool life and above all process reliability with our tools," says Frank Stäbler. The tool range is complemented by the matching clamping technology as well as various services related to process optimisation and networked manufacturing - all from a single source.

Titanbearbeitung: Zwei neue Fräser für beste Ergebnisse

Das MAPAL Programm für die Titanzerspanung wurde um zwei effiziente Fräswerkzeuge erweitert. Der fünfschneidige Trochoidfräser OptiMill-Tro-Titan zeichnet sich durch maximales Zeitspanvolumen aus und glänzt infolge von Ungleichteilung und -steigung der Schneiden mit hervorragenden Oberflächen. Der radiale Hochvorschubfräser NeoMill-4-HiFeed90 steht für hohe Produktivität und zeichnet sich durch höchste Abtragsraten, sehr hohe Vorschübe und große Spantiefen aus.
