Great joy on both sides: A group of students and teachers from the Busan National Mechanical Technical High School came to Aalen and visited the MAPAL training centre. For many years MAPAL has been committed to promoting practical training in Korea and cooperates with the Technical School in Busan in this regard. Before the pandemic, six to eight of their students came to the MAPAL training centre every year for a three-month qualification. Back in their home country, the young people were offered a job by the Korean subsidiary MAPAL HITECO in Seoul.

Funding by South Korea's Ministry of Educatio

The technical school in Busan trains around 600 students in the technical field. The 17 graduates who visited MAPAL on these days achieved the best results last year. The Korean Ministry of Education honoured their superior performance and sponsored the trip to Germany.

Much enthusiasm among the visitors

"The Korean guests were enthusiastic about our training opportunities," reports Uwe Hessler, Head of Training and Further Education at MAPAL. The visitors were particularly amazed by the modern machinery and the training facilities in the robotics department. Following their stay at MAPAL, the group was invited on a guided tour of the Technical School in Aalen. This gave the guests a good overview of the structure of dual training in Germany.
