Uwe Rein, who has led activities in Meiningen since 2015, will remain responsible for distribution and commercial operations.
MAPAL is taking account of the growth of the company by extending the management team. Founded in 1993, WEISSKOPF has been part of the MAPAL Group since 2012. With the integration and the resulting international orientation, the Meiningen factory has been steadily receiving more and more orders. Production capacities were significantly expanded in 2015. The MAPAL subsidiary manufactures special and miniature tools from solid carbide as well as PCD and solid carbide-tipped custom tools. 130 people are employed at WEISSKOPF, including 15 trainees.
