La sede di Fountain Inn, situata sulle Foothills della Carolina del Sud, è stata fondata nel 2013 come centro di competenza per utensili in metallo duro integrale e per l’industria aerospaziale locale. I dipendenti si occupano della produzione e del ricondizionamento di utensili in PCD e metallo duro integrale.
La modernissima unità di produzione gode del supporto dei dipartimenti di servizio assistenza clienti, design & ingegneria, risorse umane e pianificazione della produzione. Questo ci permette di offrire sia nuovi utensili che servizi di riparazione/riaffilatura per i mercati americani. A tal fine i team sviluppano design per utensili e modelli di processo ed elaborano in loco la documentazione di offerta.
Nella sede statunitense di MAPAL lavorano in totale 175 dipendenti.
