Le site de Fountain Inn dans les Foothills de Caroline du Sud a vu le jour en 2013. Il s'agit d'un centre compétences spécialisé dans les outils en carbure monobloc et dans l'approvisionnement de l'industrie aéronautique locale. Le personnel s'occupe ici de fabriquer et de reconditionner des outils en carbure monobloc et PCD.
Cette unité de production ultramoderne est complétée par le service client, le design et l'ingénierie, les ressources humaines et la planification de la production. Nous sommes ainsi en mesure de proposer aux marchés américains aussi bien des outils neufs que des services de réparation ou d'affûtage. Les équipes conçoivent pour cela des outils et des méthodes, et rédigent les documents d'offre sur place.
Aux USA, MAPAL emploie 160 personnes au total.
