IMPULSE 83 has been published
The spotlight in the MAPAL technology magazine IMPULSE 83 will be on innovation and strategic focus areas.
The current issue of the MAPAL technology magazine IMPULSE presents MAPAL’s innovations and focus topics for 2025. This time, the spotlight is on new products and program extensions in the areas of countersinking, actuation, reaming and fine boring, milling, and clamping.
Also new: a BFS interface for the fastest possible tool changes. With the bayonet-like interface for exchangeable head systems, users benefit from extremely easy handling, a rigid connection, and optimal cooling.
Among the innovations in countersinking is a spotfacing tool with a microstop cage for aircraft assembly, while standardized facing heads for the highest demands in the LAT “Performance Line” define the actuation segment. The areas of reaming and fine boring, milling, and clamping are addressed with program extensions for reamers, solid carbide milling cutters, and the UNIQ DReaM Chuck. There is also a preview of the “Empower your Aluminium Machining” campaign.
The user reports section in this issue includes, among others, an article about the collaboration between MAPAL and DEUTZ in Spain in the field of tool management. Krämer+Grebe GmbH & Co. KG in Biedenkopf-Wallau, Hesse, relies on MAPAL reamers and high-feed milling cutters in tool and mold making—and is very satisfied with this cooperation.
The technology magazine is published in German and English. The digital edition is available for viewing and download. A print edition can be subscribed to free of charge via the MAPAL website.
