A instalação de Fountain Inn nos contrafortes da Carolina do Sul foi estabelecida em 2013 como centro de competência para ferramentas de metal duro integral e para a indústria aeroespacial ali localizada. Os colaboradores aqui são responsáveis pela produção e recondicionamento de PCD e ferramentas de metal duro integral.
A unidade de produção de última geração é apoiada pelo serviço ao cliente, design e engenharia, recursos humanos e planeamento da produção. Isto permite-nos oferecer tanto novas ferramentas como serviços de reparação/retificação para os mercados americanos. As equipas desenvolvem desenhos de ferramentas e layouts de processos para este fim e processam a documentação de orçamentos diretamente no local.
Um total de 160 colaboradores trabalham para a MAPAL nos EUA.

Our MAPAL Football World Cup or European Championship takes place every two years, bringing together colleagues from various sites across Germany and abroad.
