MAPAL donates 10,000 euros to the region

MAPAL did not give gifts to customers and business partners at the turn of the year 2018/19. As in previous years, the company is instead supporting social organisations that help people in difficult life situations. President of the MAPAL Group, Dr Jochen Kress, handed over two donation cheques for a total of 10,000 euros in January. One of the recipients is the Aalen-based association Aufwind, which will use the donated 5,000 euros for therapy projects on the Aufwind farm. A second donation of 5,000 euros went to the Maja Fischer Hospice in Aalen-Ebnat. The hospice depends on money from the region. This is because, according to a legal requirement, the institution must generate five per cent of its annual expenditure from donations. “This is why we’re delighted with the support from MAPAL,” thanked hospice manager, Helga Schmid.
