Four millennia at MAPAL

More than 160 employees celebrated a work anniversary at MAPAL in 2020. Well over a third of them have been loyal to the precision tool manufacturer for over 30 years, sending a firm statement about their close ties with the Aalen-based family business. Two employees can look back on 45 years of service to the company, and almost 100 are celebrating 25 or 10 years of service.

Normally, that would be a good reason to celebrate together. To everyone's great regret, however, MAPAL had to forego the usual honours this time. The traditional anniversary celebration in the company's casino and the joint photo of the employees were both unfortunately cancelled due to the Corona-related precautionary measures and contact restrictions.

Dr Jochen Kress, President of the MAPAL Group, was nevertheless keen to honour the long-serving employees in a worthy manner. He visited those celebrating their anniversary at their workplace wherever possible or sent them a personal card. Dr Kress expressed his gratitude for the commitment and experience that the long-serving employees contribute to the company. He promised them that an alternative to the cancelled anniversary celebration would be considered. Chairman of the Works Council Frank Khöber and the HR Business Partners congratulated the people celebrating their anniversary and presented the anniversary gifts.
