YOUR TASKS:
- Analyze and maintain quality performance metrics including Customer Concerns, Non-Conformances, Supplier Complaints, FPY, COPQ, and Rework Costs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools.
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement through statistical analysis.
- Present quality performance results and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate and maintain quality-related records and transactions within SAP.
- Generate and analyze Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reports.
- Track and report scrap, rework, concession, warranty, and customer claim costs.
- Support data accuracy and integrity within SAP quality modules.
- Collaborate with the Director of Quality and Quality Technicians in the investigation and processing of customer complaints.
- Support customer concern containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
- Assist with supplier complaint investigations and supplier corrective action follow-up.
- Monitor and report on customer and supplier quality performance metrics.
- Facilitate investigations of internal quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Utilize tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies.
- Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Support preventive action initiatives to reduce recurrence of quality issues.
- Maintain controlled procedures, forms, work instructions, and records in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Coordinate document revisions, approvals, distribution, and change management activities.
- Ensure quality documentation remains current, accurate, and accessible.
- Support internal and external audits through documentation review and record management.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Support projects focused on reducing defects, rework, customer complaints, and supplier quality issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve First Pass Yield and reduce Cost of Poor Quality
YOUR PROFILE:
- Certified Quality Engineer Certificate, Internal Auditor Certificate, Data Analytics, or related technical field preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience analyzing quality metrics and manufacturing performance data.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and quality management processes preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, charts, data analysis, and reporting.
- Understanding of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) methodologies.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation control practices.
- Manufacturing quality experience preferred.
- Experience within machining, cutting tools, precision manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
