    An important element of the MAPAL HSK clamping technology is the KS clamping cartridge. The manual clamping mechanism provides maximum clamping forces that can be achieved reliably due to the simple, robust construction. The KS clamping cartridge is used in spindles and basic holders, directly or via adapter flanges.

    Hydraulic chucks

    Due to their high radial run-out accuracy and the resulting even cutting action as well as the excellent vibration damping, MAPAL hydraulic chucks guarantee optimal workpiece finishes. In addition, microstructure cracking on the tool cutting edge is prevented by the hydraulic system, the tool lives increased and costs reduced. The high clamping reliability is ensured even at high spindle speeds. The chucks can be adjusted to the μ thanks to axial and radial length adjustment.

    Shrink chucks

    Using the shrink chucks ThermoChuck the tools can be accurately clamped for almost all milling operations. High torque transmission and radial rigidity characterise this chuck. Long-term radial run-out accuracy and repetition accuracy of < 3 μm in the location bore guarantee high dimensional accuracy at the workpiece. The shrink chucks from MAPAL are finely balanced as standard so that high surface finishes and long tool lives are ensured.

    Mechanical chucks

    Mechanical chucks impress due to their simple construction and the uncomplicated handling. The clamping is safeguarded regardless of the direction of rotation even at high spindle speeds. The standard programme for mechanical tool clamping covers precision drill chucks that are also available in a micro design with direct clamping from 0.2 mm. Due to the modular design, the drill chucks are available with all forms of machine-side tool bodies. Collet chucks, Weldon and Whistle Notch chucks round off the programme of mechanical chucks.

  • Mandril de superfície MillChuck, sistema HB

    Mandril de fixação de superfície para usinagens por fresagem de alto desempenho

    O novo mandril de fixação de superfície MAPAL convence com sua fixação forte, manuseio simples e concentricidade nitidamente melhorada. O furo de alojamento é confeccionado com precisão micrométrica de um dígito, portanto é muito mais exato do que era usual anteriormente. Deste modo é reduzida a folga radial da ferramenta fixada, melhorando consideravelmente a concentricidade. A grande tolerância na superfície de fixação lateral também é compensada. Para isso a MAPAL insere um elemento de mola no alojamento, o que possibilita uma união positiva definida entre ferramenta e alojamento. Além disso, canais de refrigeração paralelos ao eixo na área de fixação asseguram uma melhor alimentação de refrigerante. Para simplificar nitidamente o manuseio é utilizado um elemento de fixação dividido em duas partes. Assim é reduzido o torque de aperto, porém mantendo a mesma força de fixação, e a ferramenta pode ser fixada à mão com segurança de processo.

Uma função importante para um processo MMS estável cabe ao respectivo mandril de fixação no transporte do meio lubrificante até a aresta de corte.
A MAPAL oferece mandris de fixação para os sistemas de 1 canal e de 2 canais. Desde mandris retráteis, modelo longo e curto, mandris de expansão hidráulica com ajuste do comprimento axial ou radial, até o HighTorque Chuck (HTC). As vantagens dos HTCs são, acima de tudo, a elevada transferência de torque para fresas de alto desempenho e uma ótima resistência térmica. Isso é especialmente importante, pois na usinagem MMS o mandril de fixação está exposto a temperaturas relativamente altas transmitidas pela haste da ferramenta.
