A new chapter is beginning for 44 young people at MAPAL: They are starting their apprenticeships or dual study programmes at the seven German sites of the MAPAL Group. Over the coming years, they will get to know different areas of the company, gain practical experience and lay the foundation for their professional future.

The training opportunities include technical, commercial and logistics-related professions as well as dual study programmes. A particularly large number of young talents are starting their apprenticeship as cutting machine operators. In addition, MAPAL trains young talents in professions such as industrial mechanic, machine and plant operator, technical product designer, warehouse logistics specialist or mechatronics technician. The year group is complemented by dual students in industrial engineering and business administration – industrial business management.

“With every apprenticeship year, new faces, new ideas and new talents join MAPAL. We are very much looking forward to supporting these young talents on their path into professional life. Practical training, personal support and the individual development of each person are central to our approach,” says Henrik Konrad, responsible for training at MAPAL in Germany.

The young talents are spread across the MAPAL sites in Aalen, Altenstadt, Ehrenfriedersdorf, Eppingen, Meiningen, Pforzheim and Winterlingen. At the company headquarters in Aalen, 20 apprentices and dual students are starting their careers. A further 24 young talents are beginning their training at the other German sites.

At the start, the new apprentices and students receive a comprehensive insight into the company and their future areas of responsibility. Joint introductory activities encourage exchange and team spirit, while early practical experience makes it easier to adapt to everyday working life.

Training its own skilled specialists has been a high priority at MAPAL for many years. With the 2026 apprenticeship year group, the company is continuing its investment in the qualification of young people and strengthening the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
