The Port Huron site, located 50 miles north of Detroit, was founded in 1977 as MAPAL’s first subsidiary abroad. It’s the US MAPAL Headquarters and is responsible for sales, engineering, design and administration.
A total of more than 160 employees work for MAPAL in the USA. The manufacturing unit of this site focuses on the manufacturing and reconditioning of PCD tools: Tool designs and process layouts are developed here, and proposal documentations are processed locally here by the teams.
