French exchange students visit MAPAL

The two-day programme, organized by MAPAL training manager Uwe Heßler, began with a visit to Alfing Kessler After a presentation about the company, which was founded in 1911, the French visitors were given a tour of the metalworking company's production facilities, organized by Laura Seckler.

Part two of the day, which was not short of information, was a visit to MAPAL. After a presentation of the training workshop by Uwe Heßler and the technical instructor Henrik Konrad, Marc Debler led the visitors on a tour of all the important development areas and production halls of the precision tool manufacturer, rounding off the eventful day. Naturally, there was an opportunity to ask questions at every stage, which the French guests made ample use of.

And there were also some highlights in store for the following day: for example, a video conference with the Managing Director of MAPAL France, Christophe Potier, who explained the main business focus of MAPAL France. After the students were able to gain further impressions during the guided tour by Harald Schönherr at Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann, they returned to MAPAL - with plenty of input on tool and machine manufacturers in Aalen. And many new insights into the strengths of the three traditional Aalen companies.
