GROB Technology Day – Productive machining of titanium and aluminium aerospace components

Mindelheim/Germany, GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG
Industriestraße 4

How can complex structural components made from aluminium and titanium be machined economically and with reliable processes? At the joint Technology Day hosted by GROB, MAPAL and Blaser Swisslube, the focus is on the interaction between machine tools, cutting tools and metalworking fluids. The three technology partners combine their expertise to demonstrate practical approaches to machining complex aerospace components.

The focus is on live demonstrations in which structural components made from aluminium and titanium are machined directly on the machine. Participants will see how machine technology, tool and process design, and metalworking fluids are coordinated. Experts from the participating companies will explain the machining strategies and demonstrate how this integrated approach can contribute to productivity, process reliability and component quality.

In addition, MAPAL will provide insights into current developments in the aerospace market and technological innovations for the future in a technical presentation.
