AMB 2026: MAPAL draws positive conclusion after successful trade fair appearance

With a new trade fair stand, innovative solutions and in numerous discussions with customers and partners, MAPAL presented itself at AMB 2026 in Stuttgart as a strong partner to the machining industry. The international trade fair for metalworking provided an important platform for showcasing current developments and maintaining direct dialogue with customers and partners.

On 390 square metres of booth size, MAPAL presented solutions for a wide range of machining and manufacturing requirements. The focus was on both innovative tools and holistic manufacturing concepts that support companies along the entire production process.

“We highly value AMB because it takes place at the heart of the machining industry, enabling us to reach many customers and engage in direct dialogue with them,” says Dr. Jochen Kress, President of the MAPAL Group.

In addition to the solutions on display, the new trade fair concept made a strong impression. The open and modern design of the stand reflected the company’s ongoing development and provided an appropriate setting for technical discussions and personal encounters.
 

Innovations for demanding manufacturing tasks

Among the trade fair highlights was the new EA-Performance-System for fine boring tools in the diameter range from 10 to 19 mm. The solution enables particularly easy and fast setting, combining high precision with process reliability and user-friendliness.

The new MEGA-Drill-Composite-MD-EdgePro also attracted considerable interest. Developed for machining rivet bores in aircraft, the drill features a laser-sharpened cutting edge and ensures high bore quality together with long tool life.

The many high quality technical discussions at the trade fair stand showed that numerous visitors came to Stuttgart with specific project enquiries and requirements. For MAPAL, this created the opportunity to deepen existing customer relationships and establish new contacts.

Presence beyond MAPAL’s own stand

MAPAL was represented at AMB not only at its own stand. Tools, clamping solutions and machining solutions were also on display or used in live machining demonstrations at various machine manufacturers’ stands. These collaborations underline the close cooperation with leading partners in the industry.

The company also actively contributed to the content of the trade fair. MAPAL experts gave specialist presentations on current challenges and future topics in the machining industry. Topics included aerospace manufacturing, the optimisation of customer production processes and the scaling of manufacturing processes in the defence sector. In addition, MAPAL was featured in the official AMB podcast.

Positive conclusion

From MAPAL’s perspective, AMB 2026 once again confirmed the importance of personal dialogue within the industry. The new trade fair appearance, the strong interest in the innovations presented and the numerous discussions with customers and partners all contributed to a positive conclusion.
