MAPAL Inc. | Fountain Inn | Production / Manufacturing | Full time/ Regular

YOUR TASKS:

  • Must ensure all tooling is inspected for proper manufacturing to print specifications and MAPAL standards
  • Produce product in accordance with job router, print and capacity in the most efficient manner. Set-up and operate Studer type grinding machine(s) to conform to PCD product specifications
  • Implement and inspect equipment maintenance according to maintenance schedule
  • Ensure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and clean to MAPAL standards
  • Exceed and exhibit all MAPAL behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standards

YOUR PROFILE:

  • 3+ years education, experience, OJT program or equivalent, working with Studer type or equivalent machines. Must be able to set up and operate Studer type machines
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability/use of precision measurement equipment to required tolerances and MAPAL standards
  • Detail oriented and skilled in understanding process workflow. Proficiency in reading and understanding Engineering drawings and instructions. Demonstrated experience with metal cutting principles. Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand prints
  • Ability to understand and effectively execute information, verbal instructions, and written procedures
  • Working computer knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office 365
  • Adherence to Plant Safety, Health and Sanitation guidelines
