MFA Setup
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an additional security method that ensures that only you can log in to your account. It requires at least 2 authentication methods - your password and another piece of information (Microsoft Authenticator App).
This guide will help you set up and register MFA.
1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app
Scan the QR code with your Android or iOS mobile device and install the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Note: Don’t disable Push Notifications the MFA App requires this functionality.
2. Logon to the SuccessFactors Application outside the MAPAL Network
1. Visiting the SuccessFactors URL: mapal.com/sf will take you to the SuccessFactors login page.
2. Log in to SuccessFactors with your MAPAL user and password as you normally do.
4. The default authentication method is to use the free Microsoft Authenticator app. If you have it installed on your mobile device, select Next and follow the prompts to add this account. If you do not have it installed, scan the QR code on the right side of the page.
If you do not have the app installed, scan the QR code from Chapter 1.
3. Login to SuccessFactors after the MFA-Registration
1. Visiting the SuccessFactors URL: mapal.com/sf will take you to the SuccessFactors login page.
2. Log in to SuccessFactors with your MAPAL user and password as you normally do.
3. Enter the two-digit number you see on the screen for verification in the Authenticator app and confirm with Yes.
4. You will be automatically redirected to the SuccessFactors Application Homepage and logged in as usual.
4. If you change your mobile phone, please update your MFA
1. Open the Authenticator app and click on the account you want to remove.
