The MAPAL Group has a new COO

The MAPAL Group has reorganised its management level. Roger Steiner (47) took over as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from Dr. Michael Fried on September 1, 2023. Roger Steiner thus became part of the MAPAL Executive Team and will in future manage all Global Operations tasks and responsibilities within the globally active MAPAL Group. Steiner will continue in his previous role as Managing Director of the MAPAL centre of competence for solid carbide tools Meiningen until further notice. 

The industrial engineer looks back on more than 25 years of industrial and management experience in large manufacturing corporations and medium-sized industrial companies and has worked in various industries, mainly in the machining environment.

Dr Michael Fried, who has been a member of MAPAL's Executive Board since 2015, is moving from the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) to that of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
