The Tritan-Drill-Alu high-feed drill from MAPAL.
MAPAL has developed the Tritan-Drill-Alu especially for the high-feed machining of aluminium. The solid carbide drill with three cutting edges has a matched, precision-ground groove profile. Large chip spaces and a special, sharp cutting-edge finish guarantee optimum chip formation, reduce heat build-up and ensure reliable chip removal. The special drill tip of the Tritan-Drill-Alu enables spot drilling on uneven and critical surfaces as well as secure centring.
