Der Standort Fountain Inn in den Foothills von South Carolina wurde 2013 als Kompetenzzentrum für Vollhartmetallwerkzeuge und für die dort ansässige Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie gegründet. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter kümmern sich hier um die Herstellung und Wiederaufbereitung von PKD- und Vollhartmetallwerkzeugen. 

Die hochmoderne Produktionseinheit wird von Kundenservice, Design & Engineering, Human Resources und Produktionsplanung unterstützt. So können wir sowohl Neuwerkzeuge als auch Reparatur-/Nachschleifservice für die amerikanischen Märkte anbieten. Die Teams entwickeln dafür Werkzeugdesigns und Prozesslayouts und bearbeiten Angebotsdokumentationen direkt vor Ort. 

In den USA sind insgesamt mehr als 160 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter für MAPAL tätig.
