Dr. Jochen Kress leitet das Familienunternehmen in dritter Generation. Der promovierte Maschinenbauer trat 2000 ins Unternehmen ein und verantwortet seit Januar 2018 als geschäftsführender Direktor die strategische Ausrichtung sowie die langfristige Entwicklung der internationalen Unternehmensgruppe.
Kress engagiert sich darüber hinaus für Bildung und die Branche. So ist er unter anderem Mitglied im Hochschulrat der Hochschule Aalen und er gehört dem Vorstand des Fachverbandes Präzisionswerkzeuge des VDMA an.
Claudio Gabos

Claudio Gabos es el Chief Sales Officer (CSO) y se encarga de las ventas internacionales del grupo MAPAL. Dentro de su ámbito de responsabilidad también se incluyen la publicidad y las relaciones públicas.
Gabos cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia dentro del sector del mecanizado y de las máquinas-herramienta. Además, es ingeniero mecánico, comenzó su carrera en MAPAL en 2015 y más recientemente ha sido el responsable de MAPAL Italia.
Roger Steiner

El Chief Operating Officer (COO) del grupo MAPAL es Roger Steiner. Este ingeniero industrial cuenta con más de 25 años de experiencia en el sector y en la gestión de empresas.
En el año 2019 inició su carrera en MAPAL y, desde 2023, dirige todas las tareas y responsabilidades de operaciones en todo el mundo. Entre otras funciones, Steiner coordina la planificación, el control y la optimización de los procesos de producción y de logística e impulsa la transformación estratégica.
Jacek Kruszynski

Jacek Kruszynski assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in MAPAL’s Executive Team in 2020. He heads the Research and Development, Product Automation, Product Management and Market Segment Management departments for the sectors of automotive, aerospace, die and mould, and general mechanical engineering.
The mechanical engineer began his career at the Institute for Machine Tools of the University of Stuttgart. After this, Kruszynski assumed various roles in the tool industry.
Dr. Michael Fried

Dr.-Ing. Michael Fried has been part of MAPAL’s Executive Team since 2015. He started as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In 2023 he became Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Prior to joining MAPAL, he was the general manager of a medium-sized company.
Dr. Fried also heads the employers’ association Südwestmetall in Eastern Württemberg and is a member of Südwestmetall’s Board of Directors.
René Güntner

René Güntner is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the MAPAL Group, responsible for financial accounting, controlling, facility management and purchasing.
He joined the company in 2025. He studied business administration and has around 20 years' experience working in the finance departments of internationally active industrial companies. During this time, he has taken on a wide range of management responsibilities and built up extensive expertise in various financial functions.
Alexander Koschewski

Executive Vice President (EVP) Alexander Koschewski is responsible for the Strategy and Business Development department. Koschewski studied information technology and automation. He is a renowned specialist in business process management and is responsible for strategy and business development.
Koschewski previously headed the Project Management Office. He leads the transformation process of the MAPAL Group and is responsible for internal communication.
